20/09/2011 - The #MOVE campaign started september 2011. With #MOVE Marlies Dekkers wants to get women to exercise more. Research has shown that more exercise can reduce the chance of breast cancer by 20-40%, a reason for Marlies to organize special sporting clinics in the Netherlands and Belgium. Famous athletes like Marianne Timmer, Leontien van Moorsel, Suzanne Vermeer, Anky van Grunsven and Dominique Monami inspired and motivated the participants in their own way.  |

BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH 2010

01/10/2010 - This year Marlies set up an awareness campaign, in collaboration with the photographer Ari Versluis and profiler Ellie Uyttenbroek. Twelve strong Dutch famous women were photographed wearing a white blouse, jeans and the special lingerie set Marlies designed for the Pink Ribbon charity. They sent a strong message across to the public: one in eight women will die from breast cancer, which one of us will it be? digital MAGAZINE ∞  01/10/2010 - The 2009 digital magazine was a great success and the therein mentioned MammaPrint is now widely available and compensated by the insurances Zilveren Kruis Achmea and CZ. Eastpak bags 2009 ∞

2009 - Marlies Dekkers and Eastpak design bags for charity. It was for the big annual Dutch Xmas media event Het Glazen Huis, Serious Request that Marlies collaborated with Eastpak and came up with two fabulous bags, one black and one white. Pop station Radio 3FM put the creations on eBay. Proceeds went to the Red Cross.  |

2007 - In 2007 Marlies worked her socks off as a circus artiste during the Celebrity Xmas Circus special for TROS TV/KidsRights. Master of Ceremonies was ex prime minister Mr. Dries van Agt. 2008 - Marlies was BID’s guest, in 2008, a unique annual network day where top people from the civil service and the business community meet each other to be inspired by speakers of national and international allure. A day of contemplation, with mobile telephones being put on hold. Marlies was selected for the LEF Award by BID for her unconventional and mouldbreaking way of doing business. |

Mickey’s Magic Ears

 2009 - New ears for Mickey Mouse! In 2009 a host of national and international celebs were asked to design new ears for Mickey Mouse. Proceeds of the auction of Mickey’s Magic Ears, which was held in Paris, went to the Make a Wish Foundation. Fabulous creations designed by Zinedine Zidane, Phil Collins, Gary Halliwell, Richard Krajicek, DJ Tiësto and Marlies Dekkers fetched huge amounts of money, making the wishes of seriously sick children come true. |
